22nd to 25th July 2024
Each year, the Royal Welsh Show attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Mid-Wales to celebrate the best of Welsh and British farming. This action-packed four-day event features exciting competitions, livestock, forestry, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink, and a 12-hour programme of non-stop entertainment, attractions, and displays.
With something for everyone, the show is filled to the brim with things to do, see, and taste. It's definitely a highlight of the year.

3rd August 2024
The Brecon County Show offers a fantastic day out for all the family with its Main Ring events, including horse competitions, the Grand Parade of Prize Winning Animals, vintage/classic cars and tractors, and the Jump Dogs Parachute Display Team.
With competitions, stalls, and food stands running all day, it’s an excellent day out for family and friends.

4th - 18th August 2024
Brecon Jazz Festival spans three weekends in August, featuring six days of music, over 20 ticketed concerts, and the famous stroller experience. The main weekend kicks off from 9th-11th August, with the jazz and film weekend on 17th-18th August.

Every second Sunday of the month, the Craig Y Nos Country Park hosts a new local farmers market. With fresh produce and locally made products, it's a great opportunity to sample and buy incredible Welsh produce while enjoying the beautiful country park surroundings.

15th - 18th August 2024
Known as the friendliest festival on Earth, the Green Man Festival is inspired by the mythical Green Man figure, symbolizing rebirth and new growth. Set on the Glanusk Estate in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the festival boasts stunning scenery and a wonderfully integrated festival experience.

21st to 22nd September 2024
Held annually on the third weekend of September, the Abergavenny Food Festival features over 150 exhibitors across seven venues. Enjoy the best produce and products from Monmouthshire, the Marches, Wales, and beyond.
The festival also includes talks, demonstrations, and debates with top-notch chefs and leading figures in the food world. Special ticketed events include Drinks Theatre Tutored Tastings and the Party at The Castle with live bands and great eats.

20th to 23rd September 2024
Immerse yourself in nature and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit at the Wellsynergy Festival. This wellbeing and outdoor activity festival is set against the stunning backdrop of the Welsh countryside.
The festival features activities such as sunrise yoga, guided meditation sessions, nature walks, hikes, night hikes, stargazing, healthy living workshops, and inspiring guest speakers.

The Llandovery Sheep Festival celebrates rural crafts, food, entertainment, and the heritage of sheep farming and the wool industry. With free entry, a variety of workshops, and events happening all weekend, it's a great day out for the whole family.
